Can anyone confirm for me that this module will work on a 02’ ES300? Are there any electrical issues caused with installing these? Thanks

Im currently using a fobless metal key so the keyless entry and trunk opener would be a great plus as well.

It claims to be able to bypass the immobilizer. I personally strongly dislike these units it requires too much wire hacking and they tend to fail in a few years. I get why people like them though.

this is why I fear it lol. Typically I’m the type that doesn’t like to deviate from stock systems that work as designed. Would be nice to have keyless entry again but perhaps it isn’t worth the risk.

Hello,

That car comes factory equipped with a Keyless Entry, all you need is to find a suitable remote that will link with your car. It appears that an FCC ID for the fob you need is HYQ1512V, but you will have to verify it before purchasing. Below is the video on how to program a new fob.
