Default Daily track car?

I have a 2005 es330 and have already put on a oem spoiler and did a muffler delete. I tried to see if I have space for an aftermarket intake system and I have a few more mods I want to do but nothing extreme(wheels, lowering, etc). I can’t find much on my model to see inspiration or good parts for this specific model so I’m wondering if this car is even good to be a project on. Nothing extreme, but just little things here and there, cosmetic or engine.

Hello,

That is really not a worthwhile platform for any kind of sportiness, it is designed to be smooth and comfortable and everyone treats it this way, so there is close to no mods available for it, unless they are interchangeable with any Camry platform. The intake in those cars is well designed from the factory, so I don't see a point of swapping it out to be honest, even if there is a marginal improvement, you won't be able to tell without specialized equipment. If you want a sporty car, you will be better off buying something else..

Hope this helps and best of luck!

ES330 is about the worst possible car to modify. Nothing you do short of a supercharger or internal engine work will give you any more power, it's a FWD platform that right there disqualifies it from being a "track car" or sporty in general. FYI no aftermarket intake will make more power, period end of story.

Buy a RWD car or at least something that has tons of aftermarket options like a Civic.

---beaten to it. tl;dr: buy a different car

Plus, it will beep at you if you push it too hard and the stability control kicks in (assuming you have the stability control).
