Default Merry Christmas! And a said adieu, you Ladies of Spain

I'll validate that allusion below.

I'm really sorry I don't check in here more often. Three reasons:

a) I did successfully relocate the 2002 ES into the fam, despite the sale scare. Now my dad's dd. And it's flawless at this point at 330k miles; runs like new. Granted I paid my dues, but I see nothing it needs for another 100/150k miles. Amazing car.

b) I've bought and tuned/tweaked about five turbo Volvos in the last two years; it takes up my on-line time. Got a big turbo on the bench being tweaked now. 300hp and 300 ft/lbs out of a sleeper wagon has me enthralled.

c) I'm into music and sailing, not so much of that here.

Merry Christmas! If you need something I can help with, pm me...

Glad your pursuit of the ES 300 was successful, I recently purchased a very well kept 2002 from an elderly Pakistani couple with 140k. Doesn't need much sorting out, I may go through the suspension just to make it perfect. The ES will share long distance cruising duties with my 87 Porsche 928. Both are excellent for that task and the choice will depend on what part of the country we will be travelling.
Great rousing Brit Navy song, hope you fared well with the "Spanish Ladies"
