Default Driver side window

The window on the driver side fell all the way down in the door. I went to roll it up and heard a snap sound and down she went. Taking off the door panel I found the cable end broke that connects to the motor and there was nothing I could do to fix it so I just rigged it with a bolt & nut through a framing member to hold it up. I don't think I'm capable of replacing the complete unit so will need to take it someplace to have done, any idea on what the cost would be & should I take it to a body shop or a window place that does windshields & such? Thanks for any suggestions.

1 hour + parts especially if you have the door panel off when you take the car in.

Yeah that sounds about right...Thanks...You think a body shop or a window replacement place like Safelite glass? I know I should be calling around but I figured I'd start here. Old age & lazy I guess. HA!

General repair shop, body shops typically like to do bigger jobs.
