Default Wheel Fitment

Found some oem 18s off of a 09-10 IS. Was wondering if there would be any issues putting them on my 02’ ES300?
Looks like the offset is the same as my stock 16s (ET45), but I can’t find the width for either of them.

I’m not hip to all the dimensions and adjustments required so if a straight up swap isn’t possible I’m not gonna fool with it.

Also, what do y’all think these will look like in my silver ES? I have a hard time visualizing these kinds of things lol.

Thanks!

Hello,

Here is a website that shows the difference in sizes between those wheels, as well as telling you how much clearance you need to have to run them, so you will need to measure the clearance between the wheel and the strut to verify that you have enough room. Going on a whim, I think it will be a pretty tight fit, since they will also be sticking out of the arches a bit. In my opinion, it is not something worth fighting for, not to say that the tires in the listing have different brands and sizes to them..

Hope this helps and best of luck!

They should fit without any issues. I had a set from an 08 IS on my SC300 back in the day. I believe they should be 18x8 with a 225/40/18 tire up front and a 18x8.5 with 255/40/18 tire in the rear. The offset is similar to your stock wheels, just the wheels are a little wider.

I think they will look good on your ES. It will give it a more up to date look. It might not ride quite as smooth but I think you will like the way they look.
