Default Need a second opinion.. Headlights!

Some of you may have seen my old headlights, they are all scratched up and calciumed up on the outside, I have tried everything and it's still the same. So finally I found some on the classifieds here at CL. I'm at the brink of buying these headlights for a I believe 93 ES while mine is a 96. They should fit perfectly right? They are custom painted black, looks like mcelligott's setI believe. I just need some opinions on how they will look. I have a beige car......

Here's my first pic, old not taken care of headlights.

It would give off substantial contrasted look if you're going with the smoked headlights on your beige ES, but the headllights should fit OK even though they don't have the 3 lines run across like on the '95-'96 lights. Dare to be different

Hmm, I asked my sister about it and she said "they look the same". I guess to us who know more about the car, it would be more noticeable. So what's your take? Thumbs up or down? 3 of my friends say they look alright........So.

I'm also getting the black pearl emblems... Just to add something that would match with it. lol

Thumbs up

If the asking price for the lights is reasonable, I say go for it. Do they come with bulbs and mounting hardware? I think BP emblems look nice on a beige 1st-gen ES, and not a bad way to match with the smoked lights

Hmm, lol haven't ask the seller those questions.. I was just thinking of getting some cheap bulbs on ebay for now.. Didn't know we needed mounting hardware? Thought all I had to do was switch 'em? But to be honest, if I do go through with this purchase, I am getting a shop to do it, not me. Oh yea price is $225 shipped.

I was talking about the hardware for the headlight assemblies, not the bulbs. FWIW, you need (3) bolts for each headlight to fasten to the ES. I assume you still have your old headlights in your current ES, so I guess you can reuse the existing bolts.

Here's a photochopped version of the lights on my car, much props to The_Hitman for hooking it up.

I think it looks pretty tight. Add that to the black pearl emblems I just won on Ebay, the new tint I'm getting, anddddddddddd the black tires I have. lol wheeeeeeeeee I'm so happy, finally some mods to my car!

Cool

I says go for it I gues. it's not like the slight tint is going to kill the looks

Honestly... I say save another 80 and buy a set of HID's and slap those in the projectors.

Dang, modding a car is EXPENSIVE. I'm getting these for 225 plus the emblems 110... Then the retint for around 250.

Thanks for the comments.
