Engine rattle after changing valve cover gaskets
Hey I'm having intermittent rattling when at high rpm, but only when the car is moving. Can't get it to happen in park. I know I have a broken torque mount, but this noise wasn't happening before I paid a shop to change the valve cover gaskets yesterday. Noise sounds like it's coming from passenger side near the torque mount area. Any ideas? Planning on going back to the shop if it doesn't work itself out. Got the mount ordered as well

Will the sound be picked up if you make a video? Is the sound directly related to engine speed?

I bet it would get picked up but its got a range to it, from subtle rattle to loud rattles, and its not happening every time I get up there. I highly doubt the subtle ones would get picked up. I think the sound is related to engine speeds as its the only time I hear it is in motion. I can't reproduce the sound in park but I managed to get it 3 times repeatedly while in 2nd gear at about 4000 rpm, seemed to happen as it reached 4000 for just a second or two. Its very tricky to reproduce but I've had this car for 6 months and I've never heard it make noises like this. I like to drive aggressively and this is something I've not experienced with my time in the car up until now

I don't hear it. What's going on with your exhaust? Why not replace the dog bone mount a bad one strains the other mounts (reverse is also true)
