playboy13, the ES looks nice and classy with the 17s and tint. What kind of wheels are those? I'd keep the tint the way it is; you can pass it off as part of the clean reflection for the rest of the car
BTW, we missed ya at the Queens meet this past Sunday. We had 5 ES's representing there, a phenomenal moment for us and ClubLexus Here's the thread containing all the pics of the ES's at the meet.

Rimz - Ace Arius 17's and I choose to run 215/50/17 - had 40 and 45 series on my other rims, and they took a hell'of a beating from the NYC pot holes, so I decided to run something with a little more meat on it. + maxima's and TL type S , run that size tire on 17's stock ... So I Figured it wouldent be so bad .... watchu think?

Looks great, I wish I had known about those wheels back in May, I would have definitely considered them. I, too, am running a 215/50-17 setup on my ('96) ES. Like MCV20 mentioned, it's the closest to matching the stock 205/65-15 O.D., and it's also OEM on the TL-S. Not to mention that it's easier to find all-season tires in 50 series vs. 45 series and lower. What brand of tire are you running? I'm running Sumitomo HTR+ from the Tire Rack, I was originally going to go with the Michelin MXM4's (OEM tires on the TL-S), until I read the reviews on the Tire Rack. A month after I got them, a buddy of mine replaced his worn out OEM MXM4's on his TL-S with the Sumitomos and loves them. The third tire I was considering was a Continental, can't remember if it was the ContiSport Contact or ContiSport Extreme (it was an all-season tire, I think it's OEM on the BMW 330i).
