Default More Comfortable seats for 92-96 es

I was wondering, if anyone knows of any other seats besides from an 92-96 es, that would fit in a 92-96? I think my seats in my 93, are one of the most uncomfortable seats out.

It would look kinda weird with Sparco seats, but I guess it's possible right?

I've been searching for the same thing....mor comfortable seat, but not a racing seat like the ones mentioned above. one idea I had for quite a while is to have a upholstery shop swap out the old cow skin and replace them with a different (ideal) kind. to be honest, gen1 (92-96)'s leather sucks

Cool

JasonChen I have to disagree. It was nice when it came out and appears fairly durable if it's well maintained.

The leather in my '93 still looks better than any leather Caddy, or Lincoln used from 2001-present...

I'm not complain much for the looks, but for the comfort.....
i personally like the "soft" kinda leather, ones that are similar to RX300's

I hear ya Jason. The seats in my '96 ES were hard as a rock, especially in the areas which receive the most sunlight exposure. This is unfortunately a common trait on all the seats of the 1st-gen ES (the same with the burnt out needles in the instrument cluster). Anyone with a 1st-gen ES tried Leatherique on their seats? My friend used this leather treatment product on his S-class, and the seats ended up being much softer and more supple than before.

I have started to use Leatherique this fall on my '96 ES (black/with black perforated Coach Edition seats, just like lexusk8's old car--only mine wasn't "born" a Coach Edition--I retrofitted them after getting a deal too good to pass up). I'm starting to notice a difference, but certain areas (top of rear bench, bolsters on driver and passenger seats, are going to need repeated treatments.

More on my Leatherique experience, threads I've participated in over in Detailing:
