Blue light above steering wheel (2000 mode)
Does anyone know what this light is for? It's above the steering wheel assembly and I couldn't find anything either online or in the manual. I'm trying to diagnose a problem. Usually it stays off but it's been flashing on and off blue. I've also heard a turn signal noise that's slightly off from the normal noise and the hazard lights noise, and my hazards have also been flicking on and off at the same time.

Hello,
To back LeX2K up, yes, it is an aftermarket system, likely an alarm. I am not a fan of aftermarket systems, especially when it comes to alarms, since depending on how they were installed and what kind of system it is, those can give a ton of headache trying to diagnose the car should that system fail one day, which they usually do from my experience. Try chasing down where the light is going to to see what said system is..
P.S. That's a pretty low mileage for those cars, seems like Coach or Platinum Edition judging from the auto-aim headlights light on the cluster, not a lot of those cars left unfortunately.. Some pictures would be nice.
Hope this helps and best of luck!

Thanks guys, turns out it was some sort of aftermarket alarm. Found an old key fob that helps control it. Even though the car has pretty low miles, cosmetically shes been through a little bit. In the process of bringing her back up to good shape and then I'll share pictures. Thanks again for the help!
