Will a 2000-01 climate control work in a 1997 ES300?
Has anyone successfully installed a model year 2000-01 climate control unit into a 1997 ES300? I purchased one off ebay, installed it, and the lights and LED work but it only blows warm air - no heat or A/C. The seller swears it worked when he sold it so I'm wondering if, even though the plugs fit, maybe the wiring is different? Any help would be appreciated.

I got a 2000 climate control with the wood face and just unscrewed the 4 screws on the unit, and switched the face plate with the one from my 97'. It plugged in just fine and works beautifully
