Talking Hooray! The goodies have arrived!

Yay, today was a good day at the post office for me. I stopped by at around 10am before class and to my surprise a bunch of goodies had arrived! The mod bug has bit me!

First, my Sylvania Silverstars from Ebay came.. Scored them for 35+shipping.

Next was the package from Randy, he still sells the emblems over in the ES classifieds for a good price. Original OEM black pearl emblems as you see here.. I opened them up and put them back in till I install. It came with a little help card that had how to care tips:

Next was the most awaited, the custom black housing headlights! wheeeeee. They are hella tight, the paint is flawless. These lights are in much better condition than my current ones and the plastic housing is crystal clear. The packaging was crazy... Very nicely packaged. Much props and thanks to {-.-} aka Robert C. for hooking me up with these!

Install should be within the next two weeks. I want it to be right, so I'm letting pros do it. Will upload more pics when they are finally on!

Cool

Congrats!

About the headlights... Seriously, if you can turn a wrench you can isntall/reinstall the headlights.
You just pop the plastic cover up and take out 3 bolts... Just don't forget to disconnect the marker/blinker light(which is impossible) and pull out.

Reverse the process to Reinstall. it takes about 5 min if you're in a hurry. An idiot could do that & change the lights in 15 if they read directions(making them not an idiot <g>)

Have fun!

Congrats on getting all the parts there! Looking at the Silverstar bulbs brought back good memories when I had them in my '96 ES You definitely can't go wrong with the black pearl emblem kit; it'll look awesome on your ride in the end. Finally, I look forward to seeing the smoked headlights installed on your ES, with the Silverstars lit up!

All of these parts can be pretty much installed by yourself, but if you don't have a whole lot of time to spare, then you're probably better off letting a professional or two to install your parts. Good luck.

Hella shiny!

And I agree with having a clear housing.. If I had put the Silverstars on with my old headlights, I probably wouldn't even get that much light output, as they are in such bad condition.

UPDATE!

Installation of Black Pearl emblems and new lights is complete! Everything took less than an hour, I took it to Guaranteed Auto, here on Guam.. and it was quick. The owner of the shop is one of my good friend's brother in laws.. Anyway, we were talking, and he told me that I could get any body kit and he would be able to put it on, though I don't think I want to do that anytime soon..He's pretty crazy with his car.. He even asked for my old headlights to work with his new IS300 bodykit to put on his Mitsubishi Mirage. He's also currently working on customizing his GS400.. I'm the new recruit for parts searching lol.. Anyways, everything was done quick, and I am happy happy happy. Only thing I did myself was the "LEXUS" logo in the back. Now, here are the pics! Oh yea, I'll take more pics later.. It's night here right now and I'm just excited.

Still some gunk there, fine with me... Not like anyone will notice it.

I'd like to see a complete front end pic in daylight if possible. The headlights look wicked.
