Hello
I have a mint, 1 owner, garaged, maintained o4 ES 100k miles new battery. I have the dead battery problem after 1 1/2 weeks of sitting. Probably why the old couple sold it.
And am not new to restoring cars.
Looking through the threads I don't see where the solutions were found after tests and speculation.
Does anyone have thread(s) (or summary) where the solutions were?
thanks
WW

There are numerous threads on the subject. Firsts step is find out what the current draw is after the car has been off for 30+ minutes

Saw this YouTube video today (linked below), and I believe the diagnostic techniques should be similar.
In short, check the current draw, compare it to normal specs. This is done by putting a voltmeter in between the ground wire and the negative battery terminal. Then pull fuses to see if the draw goes down. Isolate the issue from there.
I have also attached a helpful forum post.
