Tesla Style Android Vertical Screen
Anybody install one of these in their Lexus ES 350? I have a 2007. No idea what is the best brand or cost of unit and installation fees!
Is is better just to go to Audio store and buy from them? I certainly could not install it.
Besides cost of unit, I'm debating whether I want to lose my CD player & cassette deck! I suppose all the features of the new screen would outweigh those losses?
I watched a YouTube video (Chris K) of a Lexus owner who installed one. Chris is also on this forum MX73. Hi Chris if you see this post! You did not mention brand or anything about installation or cost involved. Nice video.

I seriously considered one of these large screens for my wife's 2011 ES. You can get the Chinese Android units dirt cheap, but I'm not sure about the cost of the install (I do my own). Kenwood even makes a good sized screen in one of there new units, for much more money than the Androids. In the end, my wife doesn't deal with change well, so we went with the double din sized screen and she's happy. My guess is the sound quality would be lacking in the cheapo Chinese units.
