Mechanic is telling me it is the alternator pulley. Could the spark plugs/coils have caused this? Or is it just a crappy alternator? I changed it a few months ago, I bought a remanufactured Ultima one from oreillys due to needing one in a bind.

Now this is the cam position sensor circuit for the bank 2. I would say some of the wires may be burned because they are on the same channel as the alternator wiring.

https://streamable.com/lqrloh https://streamable.com/zof6o8 car is making these noises after installation… what could it be? Please help, this car has been nothing but issues for me since I got it… kind of seems like it’s coming from the radiator because it was vibrating heavily when I touched it.

I would unplug the fans and see if the noise stops.

So turn the car on after unplugging them?

Yes, just long enough to see if the noise goes away.

If that is the issue, your fan motor probably has a bearing going bad. You might be able to replace the suspect fan motor, or get an entire fan assembly.

LexusPartsNow.com shows the fans sold separately. RockAuto.com has completely assemblies for $92-$166

You need to know whether or not your car has the Tow Package. If your car has the tow package, there will be a cooling line running from the radiator to the transmission.

Just checked it again. Didn’t make the noise anymore but I noticed it was practically all out of coolant. Not really sure why this happened. I only unplugged one coolant line when I changed the alternator and I filled it up completely just yesterday.

Check your engine oil level to make sure that coolant isn't getting into your engine (your dipstick would show it being overfilled).

Make sure to "burp" the top cooling hose when you add the coolant (squeeze it several times) to help release air bubbles that may prevent the coolant from flowing into the system.

Lots of plastic on the radiator, so check for drips that might indicate it cracked somewhere when you were jostling it around.

If the bearing in one of the cooling fans is going bad, it might make different noises as it heats up and cools down. If I were you, I would be prepared to replace them.

Dipstick is showing like no oil despite me doing a change on it yesterday. I’m so confused now as to what this could be.

Filled up the coolant again and drove it around for 5-10 mins and it’s still at the same level.

Are you parked on level ground? How much oil did you put in? Should have been 6.4 qts.
