I definitely put the correct amount. I drove it like a whole afternoon yesterday, so I’m sure it would’ve messed up if it was empty. I’m not sure what to check, but to turn it on and look again. It is level.

The engine needs to be turned off for a while before you check the oil level. If you check it right after you turn off the engine, all of the oil does not have enough time to drain back into the oil pan and you will get an incorrect low reading.
