Default P0052 and P0057 Oxygen Sensor Codes

I have a 2008 ES 350 and the Check Engine is On. I ran it through diagnosis and the two codes came up P0052 and P0057. I looked in the internet and it is the Air Fuel Ratio and Oxygen Sensor (Bank 2 Sensor 1 and Bank 2 Sensor 2).

I have two questions I need your assistance with:
1. Is bank 2 indicates to sensors close to front bumper, near the Radiator?
2. Denso O2 sensor refers to O2 sensors as Right or Left. Which one would represent Bank 2 sensors?

Thank you in advance and best regards

Welcome to CL. Use the search box (search this forum) on the right side of the main page and enter the word Oxygen. You will find many threads that will help you figure this out. This has been discussed many times.

For the P0052:P0052: A/F sensor heater (bank 2) open/short (High electrical current)
The problem may be the HTR relay, the wiring or, most likely, the O2 sensor itself. You are lucky that the sensor is the in on top of the catalytic converter, between the engine and the radiator.

This is the way to test the sensor with a multimeter:

P0057:

Oxygen Sensor Heater Control Circuit Low (Bank 2 Sensor 2)

Now, this is a bit more complicated. We see that the problem is on both sensors which is a bit awkward.
This makes me believe that both sensors are good but the problem is the HTR relay/fuse/wiring.

Please check this and then report back.

Thank you ESH for your reply. The AFR sensor was actually damaged because the technician tightened the sensor and the threads were not aligned. In addition, while removing the sensor he broke the connector. This code appeared after this took place. So, originally I only had Bank2 sensor 2 code only.

After looking in the internet, Bank 2 is closer to the radiator as you indicated, and Denso refer to them as Left Sensors.

Thank you for your time and best regards
