Default 2007 Lexus ES 350 Transmission Issue?

My wife went to the store and parked. When she came out of the store, she drove it to the stop sign and from there it didn’t want to accelerate at all all of a sudden. It cranks just fine. Runs quiet, but when I shift it from park to reverse, the car won’t move. When I shift it into drive it won’t move either. When I put it back into park, there is a grinding noise for about a second or two. For some reason the gears aren’t engaging. There is a Check VSC light on the dash and a check engine light. I am trying to find my code reader but can anyone give me insight? Has this happened to anyone and what was the fix?

Some background info: it’s not the bearings, CV axles, or anything that has to do with that. All of that was replaced as well as the complete suspension front and rear about a year ago. The car has never had any previous transmission issues, no slipping or grinding or anything like that prior to this. I reset the VSC light by removing the battery cables for a few minutes. Then put them back, and the light was off. The check engine light as well. I drained the transmission oil and replaced it with the manufacturer’s recommended Toyota transmission fluid. I cranked the car and it runs just fine, and then I put it into drive and it didn’t move at all. It didn’t even sound like it went into gear. But immediately the check VSC light came back on and the check engine light. I put it back into park, and there was the grinding noise again for a second or two and then it stopped. Why is it not going into gear?
