Default Aux not working.

Hello everyone, I’ve recently had a problem with the aux in my car. It was working just fine until it suddenly didn’t. I tried changing cables and even changed the aux port which cost me over 100$ from lexus, and the issue is still not resolved. Also when i connect the aux cable to the input the car volume turns down until it reaches zero even when i put it back up it fights me and goes down. Radio works fine even CD. All the button work correctly, the CD/Aux button works but refuses to switch to aux mode and the mode button on the steering wheel doesn’t work or switch modes. If anyone has encountered a similar issue can you please share how you resolved it. It’s a 2008 es350 btw.

I have never had this issue, but you might want to try disconnecting the battery for 30 minutes so that everything resets. Might get lucky.

I had this problem too, but after changing the aux port and using a ground loop noise isolator in the 3.5mm port, my aux started working again.
