It seems like alot of these new models ie,,, ES and IS are using the 06 GS as a base and platform of new styles.... Like this new ES bacicall y looks like a GS especially the nose.... I think all these models are great btw.. I'm not giving anything negative here its just down the road when making a choice on a lexus its not going to be easy ... They all look great The ES is wearing the GS wheels... etc...

Mystery abounds about the New ES. I wonder how far they'll go to differentiate vs. the IS. The Panoramic Roof is rumored...
...and supposedly this is the 'last' ES to use the Camry platform.

Eh that'll likely never happen. They're joined at the hip, Lexus will never be able to get away from the giant Toyota parts bin. The fact is, All of the Toyota divisions will always be built @ the same plants, using the same parts bins. It simply makes no financial since to make everything 100% seperate! That's why every major automaker does it.
(That does not mean styling will progressively get more LF. That's not what I said, don't even start!)

That's a breakdown of TMC - Japan. Some of the charts have errors, but that's the best info you can find at one single spot!
