I agree that blue looks sharp! I think that 'weird' colour is the new 'Amber pearl'.

I like both colors but that blue belongs on the IS and not the ES also put that brown color on the SC and GS looks pretty good to me. I love the ES ill take one with the regular sunroof.

Yea I see that! I'm very pleased....I'd rather spend the money on other options than a sunroof.

I can see a Premium Plus package with a few extra options in my future, that is if they can make it happen.

That blue color is called Aquamarine Pearl. Blue Oynx is almost black it's so dark.

If thats Golden Almond then they won't offer it with black leather, Toyota doesn't like that combo for some reason. I hope they finally prove me wrong, it looks great on an Acura TL!

If the New LS isnt in my budget it looks like im going to make a switch from my 01 LS to this ES. I never thought instead of downgrading an old LS to a new ES it is a major upgrade.
The cneter console looks much more amazing with the posts initially

It looks better in silver and can see why it comes standard with cloth seats and not leather.

As you have seen from some of the posts, some people don't want it. We can't be certain that the LS definitely won't have that option at this point because they have yet to reveal all the details about that car in Detrioit, there's more info to come later . It's nice to have if the wind noise is not worse than a regular sunroof when closed. I have test driven the E class with that feature, but I had the roof closed all the time, I was paying more attention to other stuff anyway, & it makes more of a difference for rear seat passengers than the driver(me).

No way in hell will i buy a lex with cloth. Did you read the text it said standard cloth for the seats.

an ES is definately not in the same class as an LS, i'll take an 89 LS over a 2010 ES. I learned FWD sucks when i was a toddler and made the switch from tricycle to bicycle.

This new ES doesnt really do much for me, but anythings better than the previous model, hands down ugliest lexus ever made. At least they are improving.

Panoramic roof is the big seller, how can the LS not have it?!

Hybrid coming this year??? Only deterrent is FWD, and I would hope for AWD on a hybrid since I know RWD won't be an option. Honestly though, the average driver prefers or is indifferent to FWD so since it looks awesome, especially the rear, it's poised to take back the #1 luxury vehicle title.

At least the wife will always want an ES, then I can look at it's beauty while I drive the fun cars.

Now it's just hoping the SC will blow us away.
