Thanks Lex! Much appreciated. That's nice!

I'm guessing that is the Aquamarine Pearl!? I think you posted the best of the bunch in that color btw.

I don't know about you guys but all these hi-res pics have mad me appreciate this car much more. The lines look very sleek and much more agressive than the 4th gen ES. Even the interior is growing on me. Someone commented on the GM style instument cluster, c'mon now. Actually the new GM clusters are pretty nice looking if you guys have seen the new EscaIade, Tahoe, etc. I can't wait to trade my 05 for this one when the time comes. Nice job with the pics everyone. Thnx.

The only thing that really stands out to me (I think it has already been mentioned here as well) after staring for a fairly long time at all of the pics from different angles......is the side view mirrors are very large or at least appear that way.......it sort of looks a tad out of place to be honest.

Anybody else think so?

Well, having not seen the car I could only imagine the size when compared to the "step up" GS430.

The ES350 is one inch LONGER and one inch TALLER than the GS430. When my wife sat in the back of the 4GS at the auto show, she said it was more cramped than the current ES330. I could only imagine how the new one's back seat feels.

Does anyone has any idea when this car will be available in the showrooms? .. I started appreciating the car after looking at the pictures as well.. but yet I feel that they could have improved the interior trims and dash a little better... but can't make judgements by just looking at the pictures only..

u know L-Finesse... the cars look really good on pictures, but in person...

IT LOOKS AMAZING

(thats the way it was with the GS and IS) The ES and LS already look pretty beautiful, so i cant wait to see it in person!

My guess is late April, early May.......but I think current ES owners (that Lexus head office knows about) will probably get an early invitation to see the car first at their local dealer.

I talked with a salesperson at a local dealer yesterday. He said that every dealer should get a car or two to put in the showroom and let people test drive in early to mid-March with the first allocation of sellable cars coming about 1-2 weeks after that. He was anticipating a mid to late March date to start selling cars.

I hope that he is right but who knows. I don't want to wait until late April or sometime in May to buy this car. The wait is killing me!

They did the same thing with the IS series. My dealer here told me the same thing. Look for mid to last part of March.

The new ES is stunning. The styling is very handsomely done. The car looks very luxurious. I like what I see. More reasons for me to be a proud owner of an ES.

Thanks flipside for the full res images. I downloaded all of them.

Here's a tid bid of news that sounded interesting:

The wood trim on the instrument panel and the console comes from Yamaha and uses a new process that is expected to keep it shiny longer.

I predict Lexus has another hit on it's hands.
