Booooooooooooooooooooo
We've officially had an ES 300 hit what I term, "beached whale" weight. We're officially in the Supra/SC/GS/LS "porky" weight class now.
Now wonder we got the 2gr! ROTFLMAO! Atleast it's still a full second+ faster than the average ES's of before!
Good work 1sik!

The new es looks pretty good to me. I don't like the strip at the bottom of the doors, though. Why is lexus doing that? Who told them that was an enhancement? I prefer a clean look but if you're gonna add side moulding put it higher. Oh well, at least the rest of the car looks okay. Well, I also prefer the current interior over this new model. Don't like that horseshoe looking dash. Overall, good job by lexus.

So Lexus solution (not sure if it works either ) is the chrome strips on the bottom, instead of say a crease in the actual car.

I think that the 07's look way better after the last generation. I hated the look of the 02'-06' series. well except the interior and the rear. The only thing missing is a rwd platform . I love my Es but still wish I went into a rwd platform car with a stick or something. Is the Es the only luxurious car that is fwd (I'm talking out of MB and Bmw at the least.) Yeah relating lexus to whales was very cheap, what car guy would want to read about whale's blubber when all he is interested is in hp? Also I thought it was interesting how the governed speed on the Gs is 6 mph slower than that of the Es when the Gs is the sports sedan?
I wish my fuel economy was at 30mpg. I average 22 mpg when my celebrity can get over 30

The New ES, I feel honestly it's about even with the old ES. I'm going against trend here when I say I liked the old ES looks a lot, the new one I'll have to see in person. From some angles it looks great.

i just want to see the new ES in black, im sure then it will look very hot, and maybe a 18" wheel option, but the ES is a luxury sedan, it may be optional, and i hope its optional. those wheels i think make it look too grandpa-ish, i wanna see a five spoke option like on the 05-06 ES, with chrome or machlined finish
will it have only one wood color choice? if so because on lighter colors, give it that bird-eye maple like on the 05-06 ES that came with cashmere interior, and maybe black with grey assuming it will come with grey and california-walnut with black
