2008 ES 350

Took delivery 12/28/07. First Lexus - a great car. Only two problems: steering wheel vibration and wind noise. The dealer fixed the vibration by balancing the tires, but is not willing to do anything about the wind noise until/if Lexus issues a TSIB

The wind noise seems to come from the front of the driver and passenger windows. Sounds like the window is slightly cracked open. Not overwhelming, but definitely noticeable. Starts around 40 mph, and just gets louder with increasing speed.

I just bought a 2008 ES 350 Demonstrator, 700 miles, with everything but navigation system, the Mark Levinson system and HID headlamps. Black Sapphire Pearl with Cashmere interior.
I have always bought Cadillac Devilles. So far I really love this Lexus.

Were you driving in wet weather?
Can you replicate the situation that caused the VSC indicator light to turn on?
The reason I ask is because certain driving conditions will cause this indicator light and buzzer to activate, and if you can't show the service dept. this problem, than they can't fix it.

Picked up an '08 ES380 this past Saturday:

(and all the other requisite options)
Location: San Jose, California
Previous car: 2001 VW Passat GLS V6 (keeping for now)
Buying experience: After price negotiations, everything went great, no hassles even in F&I. Going through all the electronics was quite overwhelming!
Problems: Lots of plastic covers under the bonnet, some of them are missing fasteners. Will bring it in this weekend.
