Just picked up an ES for my wife this weekend to add to my GX. It replaces a 2001 Acura CL Type-S (for sale, if anyone is interested ;^)

We wanted a Ruby/Black, but Lexus seems to only make the Ruby with Cashmere. That's one thing Lexus pisses me off about. They always list all these options and choice but then they only build a small subset of pre-built configurations. Anyhoo...

All three vehicles have Cashmere interiors.

The Lexus "as is" from the dealer. I have detailed the two GM products - probably do the Lexus next week.

I assume you are asking about the Lexus that is Aquamarine Pearl (I edited post to add exterior color).

In case it was one of the other vehicles their exterior colors are:
Silverado - Dark Ruby Red Metallic
Corvette - Monterey Red Metallic (3 stage Tint color $750 option).

I meant the ES350. I always thought Aquamarine was a bit too green for my taste, but your photo makes it look quite good. I picked Smoky Granite because of its more masculine look (to compensate for the passive-elegant body design), but this would've been an interesting alternative. Besides, Smoky Granite is becoming rather common in my area... =(

I never noticed an Aquamarine ES350 on the road around here, but then I was not looking either. The dealer did not have many in that color (I think only 3 and they were all optioned the same). It does not appear to be a common color.

Aquamarine is one of those colors that is hard to photograph just like Monterey Red on the Corvette. The color appears to change depending on the angle and brightness of the lighting.

It was actually color that got my wife to trade in her 2001 ES300 with only 36K miles. She had seen some of the RX3??'s on the road in Breakwater Blue Metallic, she liked the color but she did not want an RX. I searched the Lexus site and found that the IS250 and IS350 were also available in that color so we went to the Lexus dealer to test drive one. She found the IS more confining than her old ES300 and was just going to keep her old ES. The salesman suggested that she look at the Aquamarine and the rest is history. We also saw a Royal Ruby Metallic and that would have been my choice (surprise!), but this was her car and her choice. The Aquamarine really grows on you.

Congrats on the new car. We were going to go with those colors, but were coming from a car with the same combo. Wish we had stayed with the white.
