Like c6r I bought an 07 ES 350 off lease and was really nervous driving it home Thursday!
Traded in an 01 Cadillac Deville that was giving me one expensive problem after another, so I am praying this will be a much better vehicle.
Gold exterior
Almond interior
Premium Plus package
Navigation system
Heated and ventilated seats
Leather trimmed interior
Bluetooth
Rear View Camera
Premium 8 speaker audio
Tire pressure system
Chrome wheels
Wood trim
Satellite compatability (wife wants Sirrius, so someone please tell me where to buy one and have it installed. Dealer wanted $800)
I will attach a photo as soon as I can find a program to resize my picture.

Picked up new '09 ES 350 today, to replace my '05 ES-330. The '05 has been a great car -- hope the 09 is as good.

2009 es 350
Picked up my new ES 350 on 9/11/09. What a beautiful vehicle....except for the sound system! (not Mark Levinson)
Replaced my 2001 Accord which might re-titled as a salvage and may already be used for parts after the accident.
Tungsten pearl with black interior and DVD nav package.
Paid $38,459....haven't paid taxes yet.
Got floor liners from Weathertech....an absolute must. Have them in another vehicle and would recommend to anyone....front row, back row and trunk will run little under $300. Sounds steep but absolutely worth it!!!

Greetings from Maryland.
Purchased my first Lexus on September 26, 2009. It's a 2007 previously leased ES350. It had only 19,715 miles on it!!
Golden Almond Metallic w/ Cashmere perforated leather interior
Premium Plus Package
Lots of wonderful features included
This is a very nice car. Very comfortable. I am really enjoying the vehicle.
Traded in my 2006 Toyota Avalon (which I loved to death) but oh well.
Will post pic soon

I traded in my 2005 SC430 on a 2009 ES350 in late August. The SC430 was a fun car but with the hit my investments took during the past year I decided that I couldn't justify another $70K car. I am very happy with the ES350. It has all the options including the nav. I had purchased a Vais XM unit for my SC430 and have installed it in the ES-350. It works great.

Just bought a 2010 ES350 yesterday after owning a 2010 RX350 for 6 days. There is a story and if you are interested, the thread is titled "Rattles" in the RX350 forum. My Lexus dealer was very generous in taking the car back and making it "disappear", as long as I bought another Lexus. I happily agreed.
I had driven many ES's in the past as loaners, but never this generation ES. To be honest, I was never impressed with the ES. I felt it was a little underpowered and the suspension was a little too soft. When the sales manager suggested that I take a 2010 ES for a couple of hours, I was hesitant because of my experience with the older models.
When we walked out to see the cars in stock, I was immediately impressed with the exterior updates, especially the chrome spear on rocker panel. Then when looking at the interior, I saw the extra wood above the glove box and all of a sudden, the ES began to look very attractive to me.
As I adjusted the seat, which was more comfortable than the RX with softer leather, I began to get excited. I reset the avg. gas mileage readout and got on my way. The minute I turned onto the street and accelerated, I was surprised at the smooth, quiet power. The steering was responsive and with the windows up, the interior was dead quiet.
I drove to my favorite rough road to test the suspension and rattles (or lack thereof). The car was a revelation, in that the bumps that made the RX feel like it had square wooden wheels, was just a blip to the ES. No rattles at all, and my ears seem to be designed to pick up the faintest rattle. I was sold. I made a U-turn and headed back to the dealer to sign the papers.
Prior to making the mistake with the RX, I had an '07 Infiniti M35, which I really liked. The only aspect of the car which I didn't like was the gas mileage. I was getting between 16-17mpg in town and maybe 25 on the interstate, almost exactly the same as the EPA estimate. For the time I have driven my ES, the readout says 26.1mpg, which is about 50%/50% city and interstate. Considering the Infiniti and the ES have about the same size engine with comparable HP, that's pretty amazing.
It was raining yesterday and is still this morning, but I'm about to wash and wax it. As you can tell, I'm pretty excited about this car. I've got a feeling this will become one of my favorites.

Congratulations on the new ES. Interesting sequence of events.
We're thinking about doing the opposite as you - Going from an '07 ES (purchased in 4/06) to a 2010 RX. I'm not sure we'll actually do it but are in the research stage.
The ES has been great for us, I'd consider another one.

I wouldn't want to discourage anyone from buying a 2010 RX. Everyone has different needs & wants. Just because it didn't work for me, there are 80,000 others who see it as the perfect vehicle.

When you got your ES was there any discussion about the drivers side floor mat issue? Just curious as to what the dealerships are doing on new car deliveries.
