Picked up our new 2010 ES350 on 10/30/09. Matador Red/Cashmere.

Other than the floor mats which I don't think match we love the vehicle. Haven't taken off the plastic tie down on the drivers floor mat yet. Probably wait until we do the gas pedal recall. Averaging a little over 28mph combined so far. This is a little less than what we averaged in our 2006 Avalon.

When we first picked up this vehicle I posted about it basically not being any better than my Avalon. I was wrong. The ride is a little better and it is a little quieter. I personally don't like the cramped feeling I get when driving it but my wife loves it and it's her car so all is well. Little less head room than the Avalon and width of seats is less also. The ES 350 cannot compare to the Avalon as far as rear seating goes but then again, I don't ride in the back.

All in all we would do it again and probably will five years or so down the road.

I wanted to wait until my first trip to the dealer to get an official list of options and proper name of exterior color, but it probably would not happen until after the New Year.

Anyways, I bought 2007 ES350 (06/07 build), with just over 19k miles in November 2009.
Black? exterior, with Cashmere interior.
I guess it's Premium Plus with these additional options:
- HIDs
- driver seat with cushion extender
- wood steering wheel
- Bluetooth
- rear side airbags
- rear sunshade
- full size spare
- preferred accessories.

I tried out a little bit less well optioned one in the same color scheme at a dealer. Also 2007, but with 43k miles. Liked it a lot, tried hard to bargain, but we were still a grand apart and I walked out. That same day checked the net again and found this one at AAA AutoSource. At less than 20k miles it still smelled like new and I bought it right away. So glad now that did not buy the high mileage one.

Before buying an ES I really wanted a 2005-2006 LS430, which I test drove previously. Now I am very glad that I didn't get one. All the options I wanted are in my ES350, and the styling is head and shoulders above previous generation LS.

Interestingly, at the dealer I drove 2007 ES350 back to back with 2006 Mercedes E350 (which was offered as a steal) and hated the latter. Just absolutely did not feel at home in it. I was very tempted when I saw it on dealer's web page, but after driving it realized that MB can't hold a candle to Lexus.

I guess, I am too used to Japanese cars now. Before this car I drove 2003 Nissan Maxima, before it 1995 Nissan 200SX SE-R.

I picked up my 2009 ES350 Moon Shell Mica in April 2009. I love everything about this car. I love the color, rear spoiler, and luxurious feel. I've always wanted an ES350, and I'm so happy to have one. Traffic is (almost) a pleasure now.

I used to drive a 2000 Camry LE, which is still going strong at 158,000 miles, doing light duty with my husband a couple of days a week. Camrys are great cars, too.

Hi everyone! I bought a 2007 Starfire Pearl / Cashmere ES350 on New Year's Eve and I'm loving it! Got a great trade-in price for my 2005 ES330. I walked out on their best offer, but the Sales Manager called me 10 miles down the road and made an offer that made me smile. So, I made a u-turn and went back and closed the deal. Got to love making a deal right before closing time on the last day of the year.

I love everything about this car. I've got a 90-mile commute and I'm enjoying driving again. The newer body style is solid class. Great interior comfort and style. I actually prefer the bigger side mirrors and I'm not bothered by any wind noise. The ventilated seats are significantly more comfortable than my '05. The ride is pure Lexus luxury, and even better than I thought it would be. The NAV system is a great option and helpful. I wish the passenger could use it while in motion. Wait, I just found a thread on that! The instruments are well laid-out and my eyes naturally flow to them. I don't find myself hunting for information.

This is our third ES. Bought my wife a '98 and we've since handed it down to the kids. It's still going strong with 140k+ miles. Bought the '05, but couldn't get past the transmission characteristics. Great cruising car, but stop-and-go traffic drove me nuts.

I'm really enjoying the site and I'm glad to be here. Thanks in advance for all the help!

Playing the game of reverse psychology perhaps, thinking it may be the perfect time, I just bought my first Lexus, a 2007 ES with 37,000 miles and clean as a whistle.

White (I wanted the red one; my wife wanted the white one, and so we compromised and went with the white)

Bluetooth, heated seats, memory, etc.

We had no trade in but have been using an SRX for all our needs. It was time for a real CAR.

Dislikes: rear window reflection, placement of cruise control

Loves: everything else! Marvelous automobile!

Thanks, Lex, and best of luck on your new love - hope it arrives soon and lives up to expectations.

Yes, 2007s seem to be everywhere - there were no 2008s or 09s at the dealership. Sorry I don't know the exact manufacturing date, but CarFax says it was put in service in September of 2006.
