Hi all. After 20 years of technical support of my wife's Volvo's (850 & S80), I got her to buy a 2012 ES 350. Certified used from a lease program with 22,000 miles. White with tan interior. Fully loaded with every option that I ever saw from test driving all the others that were available.
It certainly has quirks that you need to consult the owner's guide and dealer experts about. After a couple of months, getting comfortable with it. The glaring issue now is the poor headlight adjustment that seems to be common. Your drive ahead vision easily outdistances the low beam range as set by Lexus. My searches for adjustment resolution has led me here, so I'm in the house now. We'll be keeping this vehicle long term, so my membership here will be 10yrs +. The posts I read are helpful and friendly, so nice to join you all.
New to the forum, but have had my 2007 ES 350 for about 2 years now and trying to sell it asap haha. Purchased it from a private dealer back in summer 2013, Moon Shell Mica exterior, Light Gray leather interior, base model with only 50K miles. The obometer is currently at 56K miles (and 1K of that was driving from Seattle to Los Angeles!). It is my first car ever so of course I'll always have feelings for the ES line.
The reason I am selling this car is because I recently got into a side collision accident (right rear) and I didn't have collision coverage. I called multiple body shops for quotes and the estimates were around $7,000 to get the damages on the rear end fixed. However, I don't really drive my car since I live about a mile from work and I usually walk; hence, the low mileage. Was wondering how much I could sell my car in its current state and if it's maybe better to just fix/mod it myself?
Since this is an introduction thread, I'm not trying to "sell" it, just giving everyone some background information about me + as soon as I can get rid of this car, I'll probably be getting a 2016 ES 350 since I'm absolutely in love with that!
Greetings from New Haven, CT, learning how to work these posts so forgive if I do it wrong. i am an owner of a 2007 ES 350 Silver that I purchased as certified with 57000 on it in May 2000. It now has 143k on it.
I am having a problem with my O2 sensors. I replaced them all with Denso sensors and I still get a check engine light. I believe it maybe the gas cap because it now comes on when I put gas in the car. It last a while and then the light leaves.
Second concern, is that my interface for my Sirius radio is broken. They tell me it cost $350 to repair any help or suggestions?

After 20 years of loyal service my Geo Prizm met its maker. I wanted something bigger to replace it with. I drove a Bonneville, Acura LT, Buick Lucerne and La Crosse, and the ES 350. I found a 2007 ES 350 with 87k miles on it in OKC and bought it. After 1 week I really like it. Hope to get many years out of this vehicle as well. It will probable see about 7k miles of use per year.

My previous car was/is (still in the family) a 1997 ES 300. The old girl has 242,000 miles on her and still a ton of life in her. The new one has 105,500 miles.
I toyed with buying the Infinity G35 or the Acura TL but I love the old Lexus so much that I couldn't imagine switching to another brand.
The old one is Crystal Quartz Metallic 2 tone with tan interior.
The new one is Silver with Black interior. Fully loaded, premium package minus the navigation.
