For a Toyota/Lexus that's been maintained, 121K is nothing. You figure that's right at 12K miles a year. I'd run the VIN for service records, which is what I did for my Sienna.

I do think that he's asking about a grand too much to be honest.

I love mine, good in the winter with winter tires, comforable and quiet. No rattles. I get 28-30 mpg on the highway and 22-24 around town. I agree, 121k is just getting warmed up. If he would come down on price some then its probably a fair deal. If you can spend a little more might want to find a 2011 (its what I have, I have seen 2011 with premium package and nav with 110-120k for $11k) as the engine was de-tuned slightly allowing the use of regular gas reather than premium.

Hi all. I've actually had my car just slightly over a year now...It's a 2012 and had 79K on its clock when I got it; it currently has 88K. Starfire Pearl/Black and some options, I'm keeping it stock. And honestly, I tend to lurk...I use that search function!

I had been on an old car kick the last few years and I traded in an ailing Polo Green 1991 Cadillac Seville STS for this car. The Caddy had probably about $3K worth of leaks (she had the 4.9L, not the N*) plus some brake work needed. My current job sort of dictates a nice-ish car so I traded in the Cadillac instead of fixing it. I do miss it and parts of it are for sale on eBay...the car mysteriously was the victim of an outside fire that totaled the car. A wrecker yard in PA bought the car in an insurance sale and the mileage on the instrument cluster for sale on eBay is only 5 miles higher than when I traded it in...sounds fishy, right?

Anyway, I do have another car, it's a silver/grey 1987 Nissan Maxima station wagon. I've owned this car since 2012. I also had a 1992 Cadillac Fleetwood for a couple years several years back (the big FWD, with the fender skirts..that was a fun car!). I'm familiar with spinning a wrench and will take care of stuff when I can. I've done a lot of brakes, struts, the timing belt and WP and heater core on the Maxi, etc. and I'm just now somewhat comfortable with wiring diagrams...old cars will make you do that. Other previous cars include an '06 Grand Prix and 3 additional Maximas...'91 GXE, '95 GLE and '97 GXE.

I haven't gotten myself too familiar with the Lexus just yet but that will almost certainly be changing this summer as there's some preventatives I need to tend to. But anyway, I did want to say hello.

Default 2007 es350

Hi there!
> I'm a new owner of a 2007 ES350 Moon shell Mica (pinkish beige). I was a huge german car fan but with this Lexus, I'm slowly getting into cars from Japan! Got it at 84 000km in near mint condition from an old man. I'm here to learn about the details and tips on how to maintain my car (but from what I've seen, it's way easier and simple than my old german cars).
> Also looking for mods to improve longevity and gas mileage since it will be my daily driver... don't shy away from sharing your recommandation/ personal mods!
> Car's name: Papy-mobile (meaning "rolling-grandfather" in french... I'm from Québec)
> Happy to be part of Lexus enthusiast!

Default 2011 ES and I call her AnnaMae

I am new to the forums, I picked up my ES from the auction ”Copart” it was a total loss because of hail damage. The damage doesn't make the car look bad you can barely tell there is any damage unless you are really looking at Anna. She was only a Texas car until now

But she is a 2011
Tungsten Pearl/ on Black interior
Had 157k miles when I picked her up in Texas, at 159k as of right now.
Parking sensors
None Nav/ which I really wanted
But I got really lucky only paid $3,400 at Copart very well maintained car, only the issue I have right now is the shaking when driving.

Default Let me introduce myself

Hi everyone my name is Kelley and I am from La Selva beach in Northern California. I just purchased a 2010 ES 350 with 130,000 miles. It is silver with light cream color leather seats. I believe it is probably the base model but am not too sure. Before I drove a 2006 GS 300 and before that a 2001 ES 300. I love Lexus and plan to slowly upgrade over time as I have been doing. Nice to be here.

Hello all ,last year i was given my Grandpa's 2007 ES350 and i cherish this thing like nothing else. This is the nicest car Ive ever had the pleasure to drive myself (even it more than a similar period 5 series). Suspension is like a cloud compared to my father's '07 GS350 and this thing is so fun in high rpms. Did an oil change at 5k on both the GS and ES and neither burned a drop of oil, believe it or not the GS has 243k Miles and my ES has 197k miles. The 2GR has to be on of the best production v6's ever.
Last car was a 2003 G35 Sedan and that thing **** the bed at 221k, burning at least two quarts of oil between changes.

-Gray Exterior with White interior
-Minimal maintenance within the past year, I've replaced a single power steering hose and the oil filter housing. After that I haven't seen a single wet spot on the undercarriage since.
-Polished the stock mufflers, to get the factory shine back.
-Added a true cold air intake
-Replaced the stock 17's with 2013 GS350 18's

In the condition that it's in at 197k miles, i want this thing to last until 300k, that's my goal.

I noticed that in the photo of the engine compartment there was no cover. Do you happen to know if there was ever one on your car? I asked my Lexus dealer and he told me that this cover was used to make the engine noise quieter. Actually, I always hated having this cover on my '07 ES since you can't see the other components that I like to check on occasion.

A crappy $60 on off ebay, couldve spent $50 more and got https://www.ebay.com/itm/DC-Sports-C...IAAOSw99hfICv~ . The one i bought had wrong size clamps my maf screw holes didnt line up. Im guessing the car breathes better because it's a real CAI but I have no real way of knowing forsure. However, it is a blast to drive now; hearing the air induction is way too cool

Yes there was when i got it, I took it off and stored it in my garage. I've never put it back on, for it looks out of place . Plus, I detail my engine bay from time to time so having a cover on there would make doing so pointless.

Default All my Lexus' are RED

Drove our 2007 ES350 off the lot brand new on Valentine's Day.2007. Ruby red metallic over champagne ivory leather. Today logged 230,350 miles - mostly trouble-free. Few recalls, tires and brakes and consumables.Great car! Acquired a 2014 RX350 AWD on January 6 2014 with 39,514 one-owner miles.Matador Red with ivory interior. Another great car! Both fully optioned and rigorously maintained. Now clocked at 145,000. Also maintain my distance from the dealer. Local shop does all the work on both and so far we haven't had to hurt each other. Last car: 2000 Porsche Boxster, bought almost new with 17K miles in 2003. Base with Tip, Ocean blue metallic with a Metropol blue top and leather. I've been known to sleep in this one.
Replaced the RX350 torque-converter at 130,000 at a great tranny shop in nearby Mauldin SC. Runs better than new.

Recently searched for a exterior trunk release button, mine was leaving black gooey junk on my finger every time I tried to use the key fob and open the trunk. Dealer wanted $112 for the part, found one on E-Bay for $60 and free shipping. Then I thought......what if I try to remove the goo???? So I took my bottle of "goo gone" and some paper towels....and started wiping it all off. Now I have a clean place to touch and no gooey junk on my finger...and it still works. There's still enough goo around the edge...so it's still water sealed....and I saved time and money. Just saying....in case any of you have melted black goo on your hand and want to try my idea. I drive a 2011 ES 350 in the heat of TEXAS.

Smile Hello

Hello!

I just bought my ES to replace a Ford Focus and the luxury upgrade is outrageous!
Black leather interior, black sapphire pearl is the exterior color.
Happy to be back in a car with automatic controls, cruise, and a sun/moon roof.

Question New Headlights for 2010 ES350

Is it ok to put the new led lighting in my Lexus? One mechanic said that it might confuse the computer and things might not work. I would hate to spend hundreds replacing the light bulbs to have my car messed up. Does anyone have experience with replacing the headlights (and any other lights applicable) in these older model Lexus? I really would like to have the updated lighting because I'm older and any help seeing at night could be life saving, but I don't want to mess up my car. It only has 54,000 miles on it.
