Default New to me

2009 ES350 Pebble Beach edition
70k miles.
Tungsten Pearl.
paid 14,000 from a Lexus dealer (came with two new MXV4 tires and new rear brakes, oil change and a recent 60k service. One owner and all service done at the local Lexus dealer.

Since I bought it I’ve replaced four tires with Michelin Climate Control 2.
Bought the Grom Vline2 and tried to install it. Not working yet. I suspect I got a bad display cable.

I'm not too happy knowing it would have been much cheaper a few years ago but I need a car now. My previous car (06 Acura RL) is now going to be the kids car. I hope they don’t crash it. I love that car.
impressions so far?
Smooth and quiet. Better fuel economy than the Acura. Doesn’t handle as well but I don’t care much anymore. Major disappointment that the overhead console isn’t backlit.

I think if I get the Grom to work well I’m going to be very happy with it.

Default 2009 es350 138000 miles auction car

Greetings, pleased to be here. After I had a new flex pipe cut into the exhaust and some tiny leaks welded up I was pleased to pass safety inspection. Needed a new battery and I think it's now safe to send my wife out On my to do list I have replace brake fluid (soft pedal), replace TPMS batteries (flashing / solid TPMS light), polish/upgrade bulbs and replace hood struts. Car also only came with (new) winter tires so I'll be keeping my eyes open for nice rims and summer rubber. If anyone knows of a list of compatable sized rims from other vehicles I'd appreciate knowing where to source the info. Waiting for the snow to leave in Ontario. Cheers!

Hi fellow ES'ers. Inherited my FIL's 2009 dark grey ride with light grey leather interior. I believe its a base model. No Navi, no XM, he did have the heated/cooling seats. Since it was just him , no one sat in the passenger side. So when my teen son sat on it the first time, the perforated leather seat just cracked from being dried out. Gonna get a quote from a local upholsterer. Just replaced the flex pipe with OEM, tranny fluid flush and fill, and oil change after we got the car, Also replaced the headlights with Philips 42402 XV2 (4800K). The stock lights seemed very dim. These are an improvement but still nowhere near as bright or focused as my 04 TL, or my 08 Fx35. I have to say the D2s lightbulbs are significantly better bulbs, albiet so-called bad for the enviroment. Going to reach out the the headlight guys and wheel guys for help in this category. Want to upgrade the rims to something more asthetically pleasing in 18s. As i am typing, I'm having the front brakes/rotors replaced. I will add pics soon. Looking forward to learning alot from you guys as I did from Acurazine and Infinitiscene.

Default New to me!

Just purchased a 2012 Lexus ES 350. 42K miles. Nav system, etc. For a ten year old car it rides like a dream on the new Hankook tires on all four wheels. Everything works as it should and I'm getting over 30 mpg over my work commute. The car is just SOLID and a pleasure to drive. This is my 'forever' car and I'm very happy she's a part of my family ☺️

Beauty!

Plush front seat

Backseat

Hello, I am the caretaker of my employer's family's fleet of vehicles which include a 2007 ES350 that is the personal vehicle of my employer's wife.
Ordered new, Amber in color, 55000 miles, always garage kept. Asking for grace here as I ask questions about the car.

I’m sure. I have both the emblems. They were never put on. Now I’m not sure if I want to put them on. I do t know exactly where they were suppose to go.

Default Love my ‘12 ES350

It’s so funny I’ve been a part of this forum since I purchased my 2012 Lexus ES350 in January 2021, but the car has been so flawless I’ve not yet needed to post or search for help. On the flip side, we bought the wife a 2012 Dodge Minivan, and I’ve been on that ChryslerMinivan forum a lot. What can I say, other than I love my Lexus. It has 96k miles now after purchasing it with 85k miles before the used car market really got bad. It’s my first real luxury car and a return to sedans after being in trucks for the past 10 years. My parents have owned Lexus ES and IS and my dad just traded in his 2002 ES for a new 2022 ES300h. We’re now a Lexus legacy.
The power in my V6 is shocking, I can chirp the wheels going up an incline with the VSC off! I thought I’d never experience a real smooth powerful V6 after my love affair with my 2001 Maxima ended.
My ES is not showing it’s age in performance, but the prior owner took decent care of it though it sat in the sun and got too many ‘touch’ car washes leave me to get clay bar/polish/ceramic seal-wax to get the swirls out. My kid loves the sunshade, my wife often ‘steals’ it for joy rides and I just love having a safe, luxurious, reliable vehicle in the family!

Default I just bought my dream car!

Hi, all. After having to put down my 25-year-old, bought-new Accord, it was time to find a replacement. Never having owned a Lexus, I'd been checking out various ES350 models on YouTube. I decided the fifth generation was for me because of its interior styling and minimal nanny technology. If I could get one without a nav screen, so much the better. I guess I'm old school.

I found a 2012 with less than 77,000 miles on it at a dealer. Starfire Pearl with light gray interior. The only thing missing as far as I'm concerned is the cool power rear shade. It has alloy wheels with a full-size spare, parking assist, HID swivel headlights, heated and ventilated seats, Sirius XM, and a trunk mat, cargo net, and wheel locks. No navigation.

Coming from a car that didn't even have remote entry (added to Accords the year after I bought one), I'm loving all the little niceties. Hoping to improve my Lexus knowledge here.
