Not the best, but bear with this one first. Maybe someone else will post a better pic.

Kaius, could you please send again? I got an alert that an email was sent but couldn't retrieve it. I changed my email settings and if you re-send I will get it.

Thank you.

Bought an Obsidian/Cashmere ES350 about a month ago.

Took about 15 min to negotiate. 10 min of that was the salesmen going to the back to "check with his boss".

Ended up with this:
Premium Pkg. MSRP of $37,387.
for $32,017 which comes out to $35,000 after tax/tags/lic.

I initially wanted the black interior but the cashmere has a very classy look which I'm starting to like a lot.

Could you post the exact list of your options? My local dealer has ES350s with Premium Pkg, and Rear Side Airbags, Bluetooth, Full Size Spare, Wood & Leather Steering Wheel, and "Preferred Accessory Package" (Trunk Mat, Cargo Net, and Wheel Locks). Sticker on those cars is $36,797. My research says invoice is $32,565.

So it sounds like you negotiated a something below invoice price! But I'm curious which additional options you had. My mental target was anything a few hundred above invoice would be good, but now it sounds like if I get invoice I'll have paid too much. Help me save a few hundred dollars this week...

Base ES350 $33,470.00
Rear Seat Airbags $250.00
Bluetooth Audio $300.00
Full Size Spare Tire $205.00
Heated and Ventilated Front Seats $640.00
Premium Pkg $1280.00
Wood & Leather Steering Wheel $330.00
Preferred Accessory Package $197.00
sub-Total: $36,672.00

Delivery, Processing and Handling $715.00

Total $37,387.00

Are you getting an 07 or 08 model? If you're getting an 08, it's going to be harder to get a low price. I purchased at the end of July and they were trying to get rid of their 07s so that made it easier for me to push back.

Here's the car.. had the windows tinted this weekend. 35% all around. Cashmere interior makes the tint look lighter on a bright day but at night, it looks a lot darker.

Detailed the car too so it's nice and shiny again. Arms are sore from all the polishing/waxing but that's what happens if you want a black car that looks clean.

So it looks like you got the heated seats, and the destination charge is lower in CA than GA (we are $765 here). So you managed almost $1,000 below invoice!

I'm going for an 07, later in the year and during "the Event" so I feel I should get an even better deal. Anything over $32,000 should be too much.

Thanks for the info, and the target to shoot for...

the $765 for destination... are you looking online at edmunds.com (or similar site) or on the actual sticker at the dealership?

I have notice too that on edmunds.com, my destination said $765, however at the dealership, it said $715.

I was at the dealer and looked at actual stickers which did say $765. Wonder why the difference? I would agree that transportation costs to CA should be lower than GA...

I take that back (partially). I was at the dealer again today and some cars have $765, while others have $715...

The price increase dest for the 2008 models on any Lexus should be $765 while the 07's should be 715 (at least in the southeast)
