Bluetooth Phone Compatibility.....
...I apologize if this has been covered elsewhere but I couldn't find a thread devoted just to this on this forum.
I know there is that "Let's Talk" website that lists all the phones but it's really not much help and doesn't provide any "real world" information.
I was just wondering what specific cell phones and what carriers you are finding work best with the car's electronics. We all know that Verizon disables address book transfers on all of their BT phones, but what about other features and compatibility.
FWIW I have a Verizon Motorola Razr V3c and will be taking delivery of my red/black UL on Thursday (YAY!!!).

Just thought I'd give you guys with Verizon an update on phone compatibility. The Razr V3m (same as the V3c except it has a removeable memory card slot, MP3 player and improved battery life) works perfectly.
As with all Verizon BT phones, the address book won't transfer (Verizon kindly disables this feature on all their BT phones ) but once you input the names and number once, you're good to go as they say.

Still no joy with Sprint
Hi PsychDoc,
Glad to hear you are having good luck with your Verizon Razr phone. I have Sprint, and Bluetooth compatibility with our cars seems to be a very low priority for them and their phone providers. Evidently the Treo 700p works OK (but still not listed on the Let's Talk site), but the various Samsung and LG phones Sprint offers don't work well with our cars. I don't want a pd phone.
There is a rumor that Sprint will offer the Razr phone someday. Maybe that'll work. Meanwhile, I'll wait.
