2007 Es350
I ordered a 2007 ES350 on June 24, 2006 and the dealer said it would take 4 months to get my car. I called Lexus in Ca. and they said they had no way to track the progress of my order. 4 months seems like a long time to wait. I did put every option available on it. Has it taken anyone else this long to get their car.

4 months???? thats thanksgiving time.... are they building it from scratch? Depends if you are willing to sacrifice any option to get it sooner. Im sure its worth the wait, but it'll be painful wait. This car is damn fun to drive.

Wow, we ordered our S.Granite UL on July 12th, scheduled to be in port Aug.3rd and ready for delivery Aug. 10th. That's with everything except laser cruise and collision.

It will take that long. I work at a dealership in sales. Lexus builds cars a certain way for every region. The Ultras that they are building will not come with PCS and DRCC. So I'm thinking that you're ordering a car from scratch. In doing so, it'll take 3-4 months.
Hope this helps a bit.

If the dealer got the car through an Allocation rather than a Special Order, it should take significantly less time.

Thanks for all your replies: The ES350 I ordered had the following equipment:
Premium Plus Package
Graphite polished wheels
electronic park assist
high-intensity discharge headlamp & dual-swivel adaptive front lighting system
rain sensing wipers
auto dimming & auto tilt down in reverse mirrors
lexus memory system
power rear sunshade
heated & ventilated front seats
dynamic radar cruise control
voice ativated dvd nav system
mark levinson audio system
xm radio
Tungsten Pearl with light gray perforated leather trim
Four months will be a long wait but maybe it will be worth it. Hope the transmission problem will be solved before mine is shipped. Have a GREAT day - Lee

No wonder you have to wait that long. You are getting all the features of UL package in PP package. I never heard anybody with PP and ML audio. Its probably a very limited production package they build every 3 or so month. It is a very long waiting time (and I though my 3 weeks was long), but you will get exactly what you want. Good luck!!!
BTW, tranny problem has been resolved back with June builds. But in 4 month, who knows, maybe they will find something else LOL!!!

dynamic radar cruise control
That is what is probably making the build take 4 months. I don't think anyone on the forum has been able to purchase a vehicle with that feature as yet.

I think that with the equipment he's getting, the car is definitely the UL Edition. The reason it's taking so long is because 1 option(Radar Cruise) will not be available for a few months. This was told me by my dealer.

I ordered mine around June 10th. The salesman jumped on my order to see what was available in the pipeline. I had to take HID and AFS lights to get the interior and exterior colors I wanted on a car that was on a ship from Japan. They told me what day the ship would dock, +- 3 days, and when it would arrive at the dealership. If I had not taken the additional options I would have had to factory order, 4 months.

The only way you can get ML audio is to get the UL package, they dont supply ML on any other package.
