I think all-weather mats comes either in black or dark brown colors only. I'm actually surprised those dark mats look good with a light interior. Of course it fits in nicely because the dashboard and center concole are black. I got my Tungsten Pearl with black interior, so I haven't seen any problem with black carpets. But, I also got as part of my package an all-weather mat set. Most likely I'm going to use those instead of carpets. We have similar mats from Weathertech in our Highlander, and those are amazing for keeping any dirt (or my daughters lose snack bits ) traped in there. I'm also a huge fan of cargo net. For any small items or light groceries, it keeps everything neatly in one place.

BTW, Alan, great pics!!!

Lexus-parts has the all weather mats for only $79. They have them in all three colors too. From the pics it looked like carpet strips molded into the rubber, but I see on the web site they are all rubber. How do they feel as opposed to carpet?

I'm thinking black mats is the way to go for comfort.

When I first picked up my car from the dealer the mats where on the floor. They felt completely comfortable, so I never removed them. I guess if you drive bare footed you'd notice it. The nice thing is you don't have to worry about soiling the carpet. I might mention that the carpeted mats are still underneath the all weather mats.

Ha....that's funny! I do drive barefooted ALOT. I typically wear flip flops on the weekends in the summer as I live at the Beach. Those things can get caught on the pedals (not good!) so I slip them off as soon as I get in the car.

Alan, Great photos of a very nice looking car! Are you a professional photographer, too?

My wife and I got a set of the mats with our Tunsten Pearl ES350 and have not yet installed them as my wife prefers the carpeted mats. I on the other hand may just place them in my Flint Mica 2005 RX330 in the meantime and maybe she will forget about them when the snow arrives!

I've had the black all weather mats sitting on top of the regular ES350 mats since I first picked up my car. I've never even put a shoe onto the original mats at this point - they are in mint condition
