Default Anyone have a Picture of the ES350 At night?

My dad is looking into this car to hopefully get it for me or a GS , and the question I have is what the rear lights look like in the back at night :]. If anyone has a picture, professional or home , if you could post it, it would be a great help thanks .

Just a question.....Why is this so important, when there are other things that determine what you buy a car for?

I guess everyone has different ideas of what's important with respect to a car purchase.
Some think the vehicle's safety features are of paramount importance, and some feel that the interior appointments or the car's handling characteristics are of major concern, while others don't really care how well they are protected or how comfortable the car is to drive, as long as the taillights look sharp in the dark.

Sorry I can't provide a photo of the rear lights at night, but I personally think the design of the tail lights and the look of the rear of this car (day or night) is outstanding. I'd say go for the ES350 !

Your 16 and your dad is going to get you a $40,000 or $50,000 car?

That explains why back lights in the car is the most important feature for him I have read a number of threads like this over at IS forum...

You know if you are a teenager, why the heck would u drive an ES350? its really not for the youger kids...

Go for a BMW 335i 300hp/300tq comming out in sept/oct.

You will be waaay more happy with that, and you can show it off to all your friends.

I dont think anyone who is into cars will really care about racing a ES350

Have the G35 coupe as one of your options as well. One of the thing that I dont have the luxury is to get the car that I really want. Most of my car purchases have been partly sponsored by my parents (I consider myself very lucky and I thank God for that, so this post is not to take away my gratitude for them). After I got my 1st license in 1999, I got a used 96 accord from a relative. At that time, i wanted a new accord, but o Well... In 2003, I got myself a pretty good 2002 camry (wanted a brand new G35 coupe, but o well..). I tried not to get a 1st year car model but I broke that rule with the ES350. Would have gone for the IS but I take into consideration that the IS won't fit my parents comfortably when they are in town (usually they are in town for 6 months out of a year).

Apologize for the long rant, but the morale of my post is to get the car that you absolutely want/love if there is a chance.

Are you serious? So daddy is buying you a luxury car and you are concerned about the tail lights?? Unbelievable!!!!!!

Get your azz up from the computer and go look for yourself......or.....have your daddy do it.

I think since his parents are paying for this vehicle, the last thing they want is for him to race with his brand new car, and probably get killed in the process. I'm sure reliability and safety are big factors in making this purchase. If I had unlimited amounts of money and my kid were just starting to drive (age 16), I would buy him/her the ES350 no doubt. Awesome reliability, awesome safety feature, sleek enough to avoid nerd radar, and such a great car overall. If I were on a budget, I'd get him/her a Camry. Why would anyone get their young kids super-luxury-powerful-huge-flashy vehicles? Looking for trouble or something???

Really, think about it. You'd give a 16 yr old who basicly doesn't know how to really drive a car yet something that powerful, relatively big and regardless how rich you are (except maybe the top .2% = billionaire) expensive car to drive? C'mon man take off those Lexus tinted glasses & let your wife make the finacial decisions for a little while... (just ribbin' ya)

OK, you're kidding right?

The MB C280? You mean the one that is assembled in Mexico, that has about the worst record for reliability of any car on the road, that is slower than a Yugo on a hot, humid day???

That one?

You're jealous of that, huh?

You'd probably really die with envy if I showed you that Vega I purchased in the '70's.
