It's nice to know that Lexus glass has built-in UV protection. I did get sunburn on my arm one day driving approximately an hour on the road though.

That was before I got the windows tinted. When the leather seats get overheated, it could cause damages on the leather as well.

i got mine done for $150. rears only. cops jump on your *** in CA for front tints. got 2 tickets on my corolla for it. decided to only get rears on the es.

Your statement is based on the assumption that the UV filtering that's built into the Lexus glass (not including the windshield) is blocking near-100% of UVA rays; if indeed the Lexus UV glass does filter out 99.9% UVA, then you would be correct in saying that tinting it would not gain you much more UVA protection.

Anyone know exactly how much UVA the Lexus glass filters out? The Lexus website doesn't provide a specific number (at least I wasn't able to find it)--rather, it says that the glass offers "UV reduction".
