Hi Everyone,
I could really use anyones help who is in the know on this, or can find a definitive answer one way or the other.
I'd really like to Special Order a Tungsten Pearl (better known as silver) ES 350 with Cashmere leather interior. First my dealer tells me that "yeah, when you special order you can pretty much do anything." Then she calls me back the next day and says that they only do it in Gray and Black.
So I called the Lexus information center (the number for them is 800-872-5398) and asked them whether it could be done. They said most likely yes it can, but there will probably be an additional fee. I wouldn't call that a definitive answer, and especially not one that I can call my dealer with and say, "Please look into this farther, it can be done."
So now I'm asking you guys. If you can provide me with any help in this matter I would greatly appreciate it. If you could call your dealer and find out, or if you have close ties to someone who would know, I'm up for calling them.

In the Lexus brochure it just lists black or gray leather, so I doubt whether you can get cashmere, even on a special order........unless possibly you want to wait at least 4 months.

 

Nope. Not even possible with a Special Order.

You can get it changed by buying or exchanging the seats (and carpet) in the future, but that would cost a pretty penny...

 

Yeah waiting four months is no problem. I'm gonna have to do that for the dynamic cruise control anyway. Just figured if there was any way to get it with Cashmere leather then I should give it my all in getting that.
