Default Sirius | XM Installation cost?

How much did it cost you to install sirius or xm in your ES350? I am thinking of adding it, but I want to find a good deal. Let me know, I want it install at the dealership, no after market stuff =)

I paid $600 at the dealer. The dealer wanted $900 and I told them they were crazy! Still I probably paid too much but definitely glad I had it installed.

Total cost, with equip, should be around 600-700. Do not pay more than that. The dealership here in Richmond wanted to charge 1000 but I had it done from the NC dealership for 650.

I have seen the equipment for sale on ebay from time to time, so you might catch a deal there.

XM installed here in Canada is $559 (Lexus Installed MSRP). I'm quoting this from Lexus.ca website. We always seem to get charged more for things up here, so I'm surprised this isn't cheaper in the US. Much cheaper.

If you're willing to install it yourself, then lexus-parts.com sells the factory XM Radio complete install kit (including the XM receiver itself) for $299; the site also has instructions on how to install it...albeit the install instructions are for an IS 350 but I reckon that since the XM module for the ES 350 also mounts in the rear trunk, those instructions should work.

I was told by my dealer that it is cheaper to install XM at the port, rather than the dealer. But, if you pick an in stock unit (like myself), it will be more. I am paying $650 for the dealer install.
