What's Your Favorite Thing(s) ABbout The ES 350?

I like the keyless entry and starting. I also like the overall luxury feel to the car.
What is the difference between "handling" and "ride"?
Methinks the list needs to be expanded somewhat.

I think of "handling" as reaction to directional changes while "ride" is how the car handles bumps, potholes, pavement expansion joints and the like.

A good example is my old Mazda Miata. It has one of the best "Handling" of any car. I could make sharp right turns at 50+ mph. It can swerve its way through tight spots...it's amazing. However, it has one of the roughest "rides" around because of its sports suspension and rear wheel drive. Not too comfortable on a 4+ hour trip.

I am partial to the panoramic roof, (like a mini-Maybach), the rear power shade, automatic HID headlights that turn, back-up camera and Nav system. For being on the low end of the product line it has a number of very nice features (both standard and optional).
After driving an 06 300GS for the past few days I appreciate the ES even more. The ride on the ES is far more comfortable and luxurious. The GS, while I realize it is an abused loaner, is rough and bumpy. The power is good though. The way I drive I did not notice the difference between the FWD and the RWD. The interior space on the ES is more suitable to having passengers in the back seat (a requirement with kids, even though I drive alone most of the time). The fully equipped ES (UL) is better than the basic package GS. I really missed the back-up sensors and camera. It was also easy to be spoiled by having the Nav system built into the car. The GS is no quieter than the ES. The GS has fewer rattles in the dash. The interior lighting in the GS is better. You can see where Lexus decided to save money on the ES like the trunk lid closing and the small storage to the left of the steering wheel. There is a big difference in the base price of the two cars, about $11,000. For my needs the ES is better suited.

Love it all
I would just like to say. I Love the entire ES 350. I drove a 2005 Honda accord, which was a nice car.But this 2007 Es 350 is a 10 compared to the accord which was an 8 on a scale from 1 to 10.But what I really Love about the ES 350 is the handling. It takes the corners so very well. It holds the road so perfectly.I even like the standard audio system that it comes with, it is much better than the standard audio system in the accord. My gas miles ain't bad. With approximately 2000 miles on the Lexus I get about 27 mpg average. I have gotten 29.5 mpg on one tank of gas , that was mostly highway driving. There are so many things I love about this auto. The ride is wonderful, the design is breathtaking. I love to wash this auto, it looks so nice when this crystal white ES 350 is so squeeky clean.I put B.B. king, Lynyrd Skynyrd, or the Allman Brothers CDs on my garage stereo and take my time washing the automobile. Being crystal white, the color is sometimes hard to get perfectly clean. It's the best I have ever had at 54 years old.And I have owned many cars.

The current ES350 will give a 1970 Boss 302 Mustang a good run for it's money. The 0-60 time for the Boss 302 was 6.5 seconds, 1/4 mile at 14.9 sec. / 93 mph. Car & Driver tested the ES350 and got a 0-60 mph at 6.7 seconds with the 1/4 mile at 14.7 sec / 97 mph. Granted, the 1970 Mustang Boss 302 and it's sister, the Cougar Eliminator with the Boss 302 engine, were not screamers compared to their big block kin.
