sent my car in for rattles (3rd link in my sig) today.

will see what they do. i aint going back 12 times, even if i get a loaner car to abuse.

My car has one Rattle in the back parcel post self, every time when I go over a bump it goes bong-g-g-g-g-g-g-g-g-g-ing. When I bought the car on day 2 of ownerships the drivers side rear fender popped out does that classify as a rattle of the third kind?

That does not sound good at all that the fender popped out and you have the back area rattle. I hope NGG reads your description to give his opinion.

Is your back glass kind of----for lack of better term--- loose? As in can you make a fist and using the bottom part of your fist lightly tap on the middle of the glass about 6 inches up from bottom of glass and hear a rattling metal--glass like combo sound?

Make an appointment and get that looked into.

You may wish to read Post # 21 in this forum for a possible solution to your parcel shelf area rattle. Suggest you do this prior to dealer visit. Hope this helps.

LIGHTLY, do it lightly with bottom part of fist and it will partially duplicate the sound you hear back there.

I have the UL and the rear window sounds tight. I quickly read through post #21 “NGG” yes my car has had many problems since day 2 of ownership (on-going). Finally in early December it was approved for replacement. I’ve requested a 01/07 build replacement car as I believe that’s the very best I can do to protect myself from another trans issue.
