Top Needless/Worthless Es 350 Features
I really do wish they had devoted a bit more money to warming up the interior. The passenger side positively screams out for more of that luscious wood.

Frankly, I like all these features and wouldn't like the car as much if one of them were missing.
Of this abbreviated list I use the VR commands the least, but "Nearest ATM" is handy at times.
If I had to lose one of them I'd choose the Swiveling Headlights. But I wouldn't otherwise want to give up any of these features.

Of the list, I'd have to say the rain sensing wipers need to go... I only want the wipers when I want them and that's usually just a single swipe.
Ever hear of Rain-x? Stuff basically makes winshield wipers obsolete, IMO.

Tape player!!! All of my old tapes have disintegrated over time... they are all worthless sticky ribbons now. I hear the Matrix doesnt even have a tape deck... Kinda obsolete like the floppy drive. I love the keyless entry and push button start. All the features are great... I can live without the VR since I dont even use it.

DAMN....I meant to make this a multiple choices poll.
Sadly once it's posted there's no way to undo it.
Oh well, you call always list your "Honorable Mention" worthless features after you vote!

Agreed--I mean, are there really people out there who would otherwise not know when to activate their wipers...or are these people just plain lazy? Ditto the auto-headlight feature...how did people get by when these features didn't use to exist?
Don't get me wrong--they're "neat" features but I would not notice or care if they weren't even offered on the ES...or any other vehicle, for that matter.

I'm just a lurking potential ES buyer, but I look forward to the rain-sensing wiper feature that I had on my '02 Cadillac STS. And, I tape-record a talk show every Saturday night for replay in my cars, so the tape deck is still something I like to see.
What I WILL miss on the ES is the heated steering wheel that's on my '04 Maxima. One of the few things that Nissan has over Lexus.

The cassette player will receive no use and the rain sensing wipers is off automatic. Also the tilt mirrors when in reverse is off too. The wipers and tilt mirrors were on my dad's 1998 Park Avenue. The Panorama roof is a must now.
