My 07 ES350 was also equipped with Toyo's. The manufacturer recommends 3 types of tires when the ES350 comes out of the factory, one is Toyo apart from Michellin and Goodyear. I live in Las Vegas, the only problem I have seen from Toyo tires are the quick tread wear (I had to replace in 30K miles) and it's not good for driving on rainy days. In several occassions my VSC and VDC came into play while I was cornering around 45 mph during a drizzle in the desert.
So I changed my tires to Hankook optimo H426. I know this is Korean but suprinsingly it's extremeley stable on wet conditions as well as very low road noise. I have Michelling MVX on my wife's 2008 RX 350, but these are even quiter than those. Since they introduced H700 series(highly recommended in the consumer reports), you should be able to get each of these for around $100 + or - 10.
I would definitely recommend these tires (btw they are all season) and low weight as well.
