Default Rare UL?

Ok, it appears there are a lot more ES350s on the road these days. But honestly, asides from my own, I have yet to see another UL on the road. Seriously thats the first thing I look for now. No UL...and no spoilers.... Makes me feel like I'm driving a "modded" ES.

This makes me wonder if the UL is in fact a popular option. Would people pay a little more to get the new GS350? Gonna go get my car washed today and see if I find any ULs on the showroom floor. I bet non-ES-owners don't even notice the difference. Kinda hard to spot for black/SGM cus the glass roof isnt obvious, but I tend to look at the wheels next.

This new jaguar S-type tried to race me at the light. I beat him. For some reason, all the a-hole drivers I run into either drive a Passat or a Jaguar S-type. Anyway... i'd like to know if anyone spots a UL around their neighborhood.

Kaius, that's funny you haven't noticed any other UL's on the street. You may be on to something about a loaded UL getting close to the GS in price, and buyers moving up to GS, or other luxury brands, for not too much of an increase in price. According to the Toyota sales figures shown on the Club Lexus home page, 60,573 ES's have been sold calendar year-to-date, which is a 7.8% increase over '05 (probably a mix of ES 330's & 350's). So there are a lot of them out on the road.

I parked earlier this week 2 spots away from a UL exactly like mine at one of the parking garages in the LAX area. But most of the time when I see an ES 350, it is not a UL.

In Northeast PA, besides mine, I have seen a White and Silver UL with plenty of non UL around in almost every color (except Aquamarine).

Here in Raleigh I've seen only three ES350s other than mine, none of them ULs.

Vancouver, Canada has a lot of UL...but the 'normal' ES350's are starting to appear. Maybe everyone that bought their ES350 first were the wealthier ones.

In my area, I only seen 2 other ES350s, not sure if they are ULs or not. One of them is the white color and the other one is the golden color. My neighborhood has a lot of the camrys.

Since I bought my UL ES 350 back in mid-August, I've seen out on the streets maybe at most 6 other ES 350s. I've seen ULs w/ no rear spoiler, non-ULs w/ rear spoiler, non-ULs w/ no spoiler...but have yet to see a UL w/ rear spoiler, other than my own. Not to say that they're not out there on the roads, but I've yet to see one exactly like mine in my area or whereever else I've been driving around--color notwithstanding...and no, dealer lots don't count.

Maybe the dealerships are at fault.
When you go to the "build your own" section, Chicago (60601) & NYC (10123), fail to pull any ULs up. Just PPs.

Here we only have one lexus dealer within 100 mile radius When I picked up my UL in mid-september, my dealer told me it was the second UL they sold ever since the release and I have not yet identify another UL on the road.

Saw my 2nd UL on Friday. Hit about 90 mph on the highway to catch up to him. Pulled along side and gave a nod to the driver. Mine silver, his white...both black interiors. Both had sunroofs open. What a sight!!
