Simple, because both the "flare" of transmission and the engine knocking tapping are not limited to extremely low am temps where an ES350 is concerned. What he does that with info is up to him.

Yes but it just seemed to me that you were asking someone to ask their garage guy a question based on an issue ("am high temp" noise and flare)you are experiencing. Don't you have a so called garage guy?
