You forgot to include engine issues.

Sorry! You are right...I forgot the engine noise issue. Unfortunately, I can't seem to edit the poll. I know this is less than ideal....but maybe we should treat the engine noise issue as a noise issue under the category: (C) Interior Issue.

I think it is fair to say that there are more owners who experience engine noise than the transmission flare. Me included. As we go into winter, I think there will be more and more posts on this subject. Do I smell a TSB coming from Lexus?

Just from this poll, it's hard to say with my flawed poll choices whether people are complaining about the wind noise or the engine noise. However, hopefully there will be a TSB!

It is interesting to note that roughly half the voter have at least 1 issue with their ES350.

I don't understand.. ....you feel your car is just gonna fall apart today? That can't be good! At least Lexus provides a generous warranty....

Edge,

Well if you have none of the issues I hope you will worry less, imagine the daily worry about their car of those who actually have a trans issue or desel engine knocking tapping.

Those two things are items you would KNOW you have if present, if not, ride on and enjoy and view the forum as a place to go if you ever develop any issue, large or small.

Those with issues who stomp on it as you like to do, end up with a totally different result when they do than your experience.

sorry, maybe you guys misinterpreted my post, the car is great and I have no problems with it just that reading the replies of others on this forum sometimes leaves me with a thought in the back of my head with will I have this problem, will this happen, well it shows no signs so Im good.

I have no problems with the car and would buy another, I know not all cars are perfect and most car foroums have owners with problems but those problems only make up a small percentage of actual owners.

I'm surprised that about 50% of the people voting in this poll have at least 1 problem with their new es350. I was expecting a much smaller percentage.

Well, there are problems and then there are problems. I had the climate control voice recognition problem, which was a simple TSIB warranty replacement of the display unit. Now I have no problems.

I'd say that was a different level of problem from the cold engine start up noise or tranny flare issue that many have had and remains either unacknowledged or unresolved.

Those and the wind noise issue which is played off as buffeting and supposedly normal. I could just see a commercial done with these added "features" revealed to viewing audience and the flock or lack thereof of customers lining up to take advantage of those "features" to be included.

The results are a good measure of people who visit this forum. Keep in mind that the results of the poll represent a total of about 30 owners in the U.S. and Canada.

Celibon's has been on here longer and has 107 owner responses.
