All of the questions assume every car has this issue & I'd be interested in how many don't have it (if any).

I created this poll only as a means to help answer the repeated question of what is your build date when talking about having this isssue.

You can find poll info of have and have not on the... problems with your ES350 poll.

Our first 11/06 build; time to update the poll to include December and January builds.

Just got a service loaner 8/06 build with ~5,700 mi. Has the dreaded flare and the rear package shelf/headliner rattle. Otherwise quiet inside.

I have some videos (taken using my digital still camera that has lower quality video) of transmission slippage of up to 1800 RPM's. It's a bit disturbing at that magnitude.

When I showed them to the dealer before my transmission replacement, they seemed quite surprises.

Now, with my new, UNimproved transmission, I've already taken another 6 or 7 videos with between 400 and 1800 RPM spikes.

Any links to the vids? I caught the trans slipping/spiking in first gear at about 12 mph - have it on video too.

Not a bad idea since it seems there is zero progress in fixing the transmission and they seem to be getting worse instead of better judging by number of 2nd trans replacement failures.

I think this poll needs to be updated to include current build dates. For example, esdragon has a build date of 2/07 and has the transmission flaring/slipping problem.

I saw where 1 seek pointed that out too, maybe in the interim those with the 12/06, 01/07 already reported , now 02/07 can add their comments in a response here for now.

ES350Bob; What is the status of your second ES. Original trans, first replacement, reflash, second replacement, buyback, traded?

Bob has not been seen on this forum in months. He traded his second ES for a Honda Accord. Last I heard he was very happy.

Hello NGG...MD..

MD is right, I traded out of the 2nd one and so far, other than a seat belt plastic retractor clip rattle...
not a problem at all with the Honda.

How about reports on builds for the first seven months of 2007?

Build date for my ES is April 2007. As of this date, no problems!

This is an old thread, it was created in November of 06. That is why 07 production dates are not included.
