It seems as if calling lexus corprate didn't help much, all they did was call the dealership and verify that the dealership thinks my car is "operating within paramaters".

I'm taking my car back to the dealership today to show them the video. Hopefully they will acknowledge the problem and try to fix it. I'll keep you guys posted with the results.

I was afraid of that. I call that the normal operation trap, all it takes is any one person associated with Lexus, dealer, janitor of dealer, to say looks normal to me and the corporate office runs with it.

I got the exact same thing on my former car from first dealer being contacted by corporate.

Your video shoud do it, that and patience. A video collection of several days.

Thanks for your help. The Video worked, they are going to replace my transmission and look into corporate buyback.

Better if you took your own advice rather than post something rude to the guy.

@ kewago: your first ever post here was originally "welcomed" by moderators because you were trying to be rude in a *nice* way. Your second post now shows you being rude in *arsehole* way. Think about what other grownups are talking about in this forum, and come back with your 3rd post in a more intelligent way. OK?

Naw, I think I'll stick around just to annoy you. But seriously, what’s the purpose of your post? To make yourself feel significant? Unlike you, I didn't post here for validation or personal gratification. I asked for advise on how to get my problematic car fixed or replaced. If you don't like it, then you don't have to read it.

Of course if you don't think there is any justification for my post and pending transmission replacement we could always trade cars.

My transmission issue will be resolved by a Lexus corporate buy back without invoking the Lemon Law. I'll post when I have more info.

Very good to hear they are taking care of you. But still, what you had to endure along with others. Very sad. Best of luck on your next car. Keep us posted.

Please do!!! I was in your shoes a month ago. It was a tough decision to either take money back, get another ES350, or move up to another Lexus
