We have a few other ladies on here that I know of and we tolerate them well as long as they behave Just kidding

It's good that ladies get involved, though it's hard to tell unless they post something like looked for keys in their purse or their husband this or that.

If you need advice just ask and plenty of us will help where we can.

On page 387 it say 6.4 quarts total of oil, so king's suggestion to use 6 oz of the stuff seems right.

You may want to wait to add the stuff until after you have gone to service and they review the vibration but the highway driving you don't need to wait to try it.

King...I had no idea an engine could use up to 1.1 quarts of oil per 600 miles as a maximum, seems excessive to me, yet it says that in our manual on page 287 and if using more than that per each 600 miles we are to report it to service department.

Yeah, older cars can consume a whole lot more. You would never need an oil change if you used 1.1 quarts of oil per 600 miles. Just top it off and change the oil filter and you are good to go. If my cars ever used that much oil, i would get rid of it real fast. Dont have the time or patience to check oil every 600 miles!

I didn't even know we needed to check our oil in the ES350 that often, so this evening I did look and while it is down some-slightly- from the top dimple in stick than when I last looked right after getting it it is not really an amount that would alarm me. So I'll maybe check it every 1,000 miles and also rely on oil light inside car to come on.

thats just standard 600 miles/1,000 KM oil warning that every car manual has had for decades, for every brand... it definetly shouldnt spend anywhere close to that amounts of oil...

The diehard automobile guys always recommend to check oil and other fluids when you fill your car with gas.

and some gearheads strongly suggest oil additives

Seriously, thank you for the more than generous offer of the tough ---stuff. I'll get some here locally from maybe Pep Boys, Autozone or something or that website. That was very nice of you but I was only joking about who to send the bill to if it did nothing as you know.

Just wanted to let you know that the vibration seems to have disappeared, at least for the time being. It seemed to be a little better yesterday and today I took it on the tollway and was keeping up with traffic at about 75 and it seems to be fine now. I don't know if it will stay fine but for now it is. Thanks.

Here's a thought, it was suggested this could be viewed as an option for the 08's only no need to wait for the 08's as it is in the 07.

Can we ask for more money when trading for this vibration option?

We could maybe call it the:

Personal Pleasure Package

And the hook could be, for those who want more from there car when stuck in commute traffic.

Yeah, they'll consider it as the ES 350 version of the shiatsu massage option that's available on the LS460L...except that it only takes care of our hands...LOL!!!
