Something positive about my ES
Hell has frozen over and I have something positive to post about my ES. Since resolving the wind noise issue, it has been flawless. I couldn't be happier. My GS is another story. The cold weather has brought on a nasty dash rattle at the base of the right side A-pillar. This appears to be the nemesis of a lot of the 3rd gen GS owners and for some reason the cold weather is to blame. 2 service visits and no resolution. Also, my GS Vaistech SLS module is interfering with normal bluetooth/nav voice output and no resolution is in sight there as well.
My ES and I got off to a rocky start but now all is well. See, I while a little but I can still give credit where credit is due. I wonder if the ES wind noise will come back and the GS dash rattle will go away when the weather warms up?

That is pretty good news for your ES, (?? for the GS). My wife is picking hers up today, (it just came off the boat) and I am hoping all of the problems have been resolved during the build. Our '02 ES with over 100k has been absolutely perfect with no warranty or repairs required besides the periodic service. I am hesitant about the whole trade since the '02 has run so well.
I hope you can fix the rattle and bluetooth issues in the GS soon.
