ES350 long term reports
I think it would be a nice to have long term reviews of this car from everyone over the next several months eh? It would be a nice comparison to all the acutely short-term 100-mile reviews on the internet.
Mine now has 6000+ miles, and I'm hearing some impending front area rattles. I can just feel them coming. They're a little hard to notice and intermittent now, but I know they will creep in eventually. This car is definitely prone to rattles by design. Everything just seems to be loosely fitted on the inside. It's not half as bulletproof as the last generation model, which was tight like botox injections.
The worst part of this car is that it is enjoyable only for a short time- like ~1000 miles. Then the annoyances seem to pop up en masse after that point, and make you say awww shtt. You don't get spoiled long enough before problems creep in. I've been a little more fortunate than others, with only a few rattles and squeaks, and the unfixable diesel engine.
But I've also never had a car with this many problems within the first 5000 miles. It's definitely a first for toyota in my experience.

Could come in handing considering the 2008’s will be coming out whenever. I posted back in Oct that this car was the only car I had ever bought that can cause mood swings almost daily.
